Tech Leader Responsibilities • Strategy & Product Alignment ◦ Define the technical strategy and contribute to business and product efforts to continuously expand data ingestion and develop client access platforms. • Drive Execution ◦ Prioritize initiatives to accelerate data ingestion, analysis, and sharing. • Build & Lead Tech Teams ◦ Recruit, mentor, and grow engineering, DevOps, and clinical-data teams. • Own Vendor Partnerships ◦ Establish and maintain relationships with hospitals, HMOs, AWS, and other providers. • Cloud Platform ◦ Design secure, scalable AWS environments by leveraging all necessary services. • Operate at Scale ◦ Manage the organization’s Git repositories, technical debt, product roadmap, monitoring and observability, and overall R&D costs. • Security & Privacy ◦ Manage the CISO and DPO functions. Embed a security-by-design mindset in all architecture and code through threat modeling, encryption, access controls, and secure coding practices. • Oversee Data Pipelines ◦ Manage high-throughput, high-scale genomic workflows and EHR data mapping. • IT & Support Ownership ◦ Full responsibility for inbound and outbound IT support operations. • Innovate & Optimize ◦ Propose, pilot, and scale ideas that deliver value to clients, volunteers, and internal R&D. Ideal Candidate: Qualifications Experience • 7+ years in software engineering, including 3+ years in a leadership role • Expert in AWS services (S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC, IAM, etc.) • Hands-on full-stack developer (Python and React) with mentoring experience • Practical experience with clinical and genomic research data — an advantage Leadership & Communication • Proven ability to align technical teams and non-technical stakeholders • Track record of recruiting and scaling high-performance R&D teams Innovation Mindset • History of ideating and delivering both client-facing features and internal tools Bias for experimentation, iteration, and rapid מרכז.
