Matrix is looking for an R&D Buyer / Procurement Specialist (Yokneam) Full responsibility for end-to-end procurement within Research & Development (R&D), covering materials, components, engineering services, and lab equipment to support prototypes, pilots/POCs, and NPI handover. The role includes supplier sourcing, negotiation, contract review, quotation analysis, and close collaboration with engineering, labs, operations, finance, quality, regulatory, and legal teams to meet development timelines and technical requirements. Requirements Process understanding Minimum 4 years of procurement experience in industrial/manufacturing environments Process understanding and strong analytical capabilities Experience working under SOX and SOD controls Direct experience supporting R&D procurement activities Ability to read and interpret NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, and supply agreements Cross-Functional Collaboration & Teamwork Proven ability to work collaboratively with R&D project leads, engineering teams, labs, QA/RA, operations, and finance Strong interpersonal skills and ability to align stakeholders under tight timelines Professional Skills High attention to detail and strong data accuracy Advanced sourcing capabilities for niche suppliers and new technologies Full procurement cycle execution: RFQ, TCO analysis, PO issuance, expediting, delivery tracking Familiarity with lab/engineering procurement, custom tooling, PCB/PCBA, and technical components Experience with ERP systems (SAP / Priority / similar).
