Software Team Leader Responsibilities • Direct an international team of software engineers in converting complex system specifications into fully functional, compliant medical fluid management systems. • Manage end-to-end Agile workflows, encompassing sprint planning, coding, peer reviews, automated unit testing, CI/CD pipeline deployments, and Verification & Validation (V&V) support. • Drive the technical delivery of C++ applications operating within both Linux user space and custom Embedded Linux environments. • Mentor personnel, evaluate team capabilities, optimize resource allocation, and oversee recruitment and onboarding processes for the department. • Steer the design, documentation, and implementation of robust software architectures. • Facilitate seamless integration between distinct software modules as well as critical hardware-software interfaces. • Provide technical guidance during complex troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for system-level anomalies. • Generate and maintain comprehensive documentation that strictly complies with internal lifecycle protocols and stringent medical device regulations. Requirements • Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline. • Minimum of 5 years of overall R&D experience, coupled with at least 3 years of proven experience actively managing and leading software development teams. • Deep, hands-on expertise in C++ programming. • At least 3 years of engineering experience developing within a Linux Operating System environment. • Solid grasp of software design patterns, Agile methodologies, and microservices architectures. • Practical knowledge of version control (Git), configuration management, and modern CI/CD pipelines. • Prior experience developing embedded software within highly regulated industries (medical device background is highly preferred). • High level of English proficiency with excellent cross-cultural communication skills. Advantages • Practical experience building custom Linux distributions. • Proficiency in system modeling using UML. • Familiarity with UI development frameworks such as Qt. • Low-level understanding of the USB protocol suite.
